xx Letters on Baptism
« Thread started on: Oct 18th, 2005, 8:02pm »

Recently my husband and I have read "Letters on Baptism" by Edmund Fairfield and edited by Cliff Bjork (available from Searching Together Christian Books). Both of us were challenged by Mr. Fairfield's research and logical thought process.

Our only question is if Mr. Fairfield's interpretation of the Greek word "baptizo" is correct, why have we never heard it before among people who believe so strongly in believer's baptism?

If anyone is aware of any materials that would specifically refute Mr. Fairfield's interpretation, we would love to hear about it. Otherwise we are agreeing with him on the issue.

Many thanks to Cliff Bjork for making this historical work available to us!
